What is Huntels?

Huntels (Hungarian Hotels) is an online interface that collects the deals of the most popular Hungarian places of accommodation in one place. You can find all the deals in the category “All”, and we help viewing, searching as targeted as possible with further breakdown of categories. You can filter deals according to price, characteristics (catering, spa&wellness, thermal bath, Wi-Fi, pets, kitchen, bicycle) and location (town), and adjust them in decreasing or increasing order based on name, town and price. For details click on the deal in question. We wish you a pleasant browsing and we hope you find the most perfect travel destination and accommodation for you in our selection! Where are these places of accommodation?

All of the places of accommodation offered by Huntels are in Hungary. Hungary is in Central Europe, in the Carpathian Basin, with Budapest as its capital. Its relief is characterised by plains, hills and mountains alike; two great rivers run through the country, Tisza and Duna. Its largest lake is Balaton,  the “Hungarian sea”, but Lake Tisza or Lake Hévíz, which is the largest hot water lake of Europe with healing properties are also deserving of fame. The country is very rich in thermal waters, presently the number of wells that provide hot water over 30oC and large amount of thermal water is more than a thousand.  Utilising its features there are at least 150 hot water spas in the area of the country, and several wellness hotels and other wellness establishments besides.
You can arrive to Hungary by car, train or plane (Budapest Airport, Debrecen Airport). Within the country you can travel by local train and bus lines, according to the schedule, but you can also rent cars. Do I have to register to buy?

Yes, buying always depends on registration. You can register using this link. We keep your data but we do not disclose it to third parties.
It is important to provide a valid e-mail address you check daily, because this is where we will send your Huntels Codes after you bought the deal(s)!

Do I have to log in if I have registered earlier in order to buy?

Yes, you always have to log in to buy. If you have not registered, create a user account.

How can I register, login to the site?

You can register using this link, you have to fill in every field. It is important to provide a valid e-mail address you check daily, because this is where we will send your Huntels Codes after you bought the deal(s)! After registration you can shop immediately, we do not send a confirmation e-mail. You can login using this link with the e-mail address and password given during registration. We keep your data but we do not disclose it to third parties.

What can I do if I forgot my password?

If you forgot your password, click on the “Forgotten Password” button within the login menu. We will send you a new password in e-mail with which you can login to the site. After this change your password in your user account! If you are stuck or you did not receive the e-mail with the new password, write to us to the e-mail address help@huntels.com!


What should I do if I cannot login to the site?

If you cannot login to the site then you probably gave an incorrect e-mail address or password when trying to log in. Please request a password reminder but if you still cannot enter, write to us to the e-mail address help@huntels.com!


How can I subscribe to newsletters?

Co-workers of Huntels work day by day to get more and more new places of accommodation to the site. From time to time we send newsletters about this to our subscribers. It might happen that the deals of certain places of accommodation are only available in a limited number or only for a short time, so it is worth subscribing to the newsletter so that you do not miss fantastic opportunities!
Give your first name, last name, e-mail address and click on the “Subscribe” button.


How can I unsubscribe from the newsletters?

If you are not interested in news anymore and you do not wish to see the deals of Hungarian places of accommodation, then click on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the newsletter and your e-mail address will be automatically deleted from the system. Your user account still remains active; you can login to the site and shop. You will only not receive newsletters to your e-mail address. Later, if you wish to receive newsletter again, you can subscribe at any time.


Where can I buy the deal I like?

How can I pay?

You can chose from two possible payment methods: paying with bank card or standard bank transfer. Both options are entirely safe: no card information is disclosed, nor will Huntels receive it. 
CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE: Shopping with bank card.
You can get to know more about the details of standard bank transfer in the course of the purchasing procedure; this information will also be available in the email sent after the purchase, confirming the order and in the user account (“Earlier order”) as well.

Can I buy deals as gifts or only for myself?

Yes, if you successfully bought and your order status was changed to “Accepted”, send us an email with the subject being “gift”, from your registered email address to info@huntels.com-ra with the following data:

  • Order ID
  • „Huntels Code for reservation”
  • „Huntels Code at check in”
  • Name of the person to whom the gift is given

After this you will receive a gift voucher from us in email that will contain all important information concerning reservation and about how to use it (without the price).
Print the gift voucher and surprise your loved ones!

 

What shall I do after shopping?

Where can I find the contact options of the site of accommodation for reservation?

You will find the contact options of the site of accommodation in the email in which we inform you that we changed the status of your order to “Accepted” (in the “Comment box”). Your user account will also have this information (“Earlier order”).
You can get detailed information about the reservation process under “How to book”.


What is the deadline until which I can place my reservation?

It is worth to reserve a place as soon as you can, since it can easily happen that the preferred destination runs out of free places in the desired period! You can find the reservation deadline under “Full details”, in the “Fine Print” section (Must book by…), you need to place your reservation with your “Huntels Code for reservation” code by the deadline indicated therein. 
After reservation you can use the deal in the time period indicated under “Valid for stays” (you can also find this under “Full details”, in the “Fine Print” section).


What must I do when I arrive at the site of accommodation?

When you arrive at the site of accommodation, give your “Huntels Code at check in” to the receptionist when checking in.
(The service provider, that is, the site of accommodation issues the invoice about the purchase for you according to the effective legal regulations when using the service.)
After this, you need not do anything.


What does “Add to my wishlist” mean?

You can save deals that interest you in your user account (“My Wishlist”), so later you do not have to search for them again. However, it is worth purchasing them as soon as you can because most deals are only available for a limited time and in a limited number.


Why do I have to give my phone number during registration?

Don’t be afraid, we will not contact you with marketing offers by phone (and will not disclose it to 3rd parties)! Your phone number must be provided so that in cases that serve your interests we can contact you as soon as possible!


Who will give me an invoice after shopping or redeeming my voucher/coupon?

The service provider, that is, the site of accommodation issues the invoice about the purchase for you according to the effective legal regulations when using the service.


What do I need to do with the “Huntels Code for reservation” and the “Huntels Code at check-in”?

You will find your “Huntels Code for reservation” and “Huntels Code at check-in” in the email in which we inform you that we changed the status of your order to “Accepted” (in the “Comment box”). Your user account will also have these codes (“Earlier order”).
(You can get detailed information about the reservation process under “How to book”).

Through any of the provided contact options (contact options for your selected site of accommodation will also be in the “Comment box”) contact the site of accommodation in question, indicate that you bought a Huntels Deal, provide your “Huntels Code for reservation” and coordinate the additional details of your reservation.
(It is worth to reserve a place as soon as you can, since it can easily happen that the preferred destination runs out of free places in the desired period! Furthermore, keep the reservation deadline in mind too, about which you can get further information under “Full details”, in the item “Fine Print”: Must book by…)

When you arrive to the site of accommodation, give your “Huntels Code at check in” to the receptionist when checking in.


What do the deadlines in “Fine Print” mean?

There are 2 deadlines in “Fine Print”, “Must book by…” and “Valid for stays…”.

You need to contact the site of accommodation, give your “Huntels Code for reservation” and finalize your reservation until the date indicated in “Must book by...”.
In the case of “Valid for stays” you can use the services of the site of accommodation between the two dates indicated therein, so the first date indicates the first possible day of arrival and the second date indicates the last possible day of departure.

E.g.:

  • Must book by 10th May 2017.
  • Valid for stays from 1st Feb 2017 to 31st May 2017.

You need to contact the site of accommodation, give your “Huntels Code for reservation” and finalize your reservation until 10th May 2017.

You can use the services of the site of accommodation between 1st Feb 2017 and 31st May 2017.
1st Feb 2017 is the first possible day for arrival.
31st May 2017 is the last possible day for departure.

Don’t forget to give your “Huntels Code at check-in” to the receptionist when you arrive!
 

Can I ask my money back if I changed my mind after the purchasing or the coupon/voucher redemption?

Based on the effective EU legal regulations you can get your money back without providing reasons within 14 days from purchasing the deal. Except if you contacted the place of accommodation and reserved a room for a given date or period and at the same time gave the “Huntels Code for reservation” code to the place of accommodation.
If you redeemed your coupon or voucher, but you did not reserved a room and did not use your “Huntels Code for reservation”, you can ask your money back from the website owner where you purchased it. If you reserved a room you also can not get your money back.
In every cases you can modify the reservation’s date if the booking conditions of the place of accommodation allows it.
